I want to replace the carpet in my bed rooms(actually the whole 2nd floor) with engineer hardwood but i can't imagine how/where i need to do the transition. I would like a piece of the hardwood flooring itself to act as a transition strip across each doorway. How can you match existing hardwood and new hardwood flooring?
